With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Thomas Arthur Wise (Van Wert, Ohio), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Moses F. Wise and Goldia Wise (Strait); his daughter Renee'Kim Cryer; and his siblings, Lillian Elenore Spring, Thelma Bernice Westfall, Robert James Wise, William Harold Wise and Shirley Alice Cupp.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Jean Wise (Wurster); his daughter Michele Lynn Mendenhall (Steven) of Van Wert; his granddaughter Tracy Tempio (Michael) of Columbus, Ohio; and his great grandchild Victoria Blumer of Columbus.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Trinity Friends Church (605 N Franklin St, Van Wert, OH 45891). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Woodland Cemetery (10968 Woodland Ave, Van Wert, OH 45891).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Trinity Friends Church, Trinity Global Methodist Church or the Van Wert Humane Society in Tom's memory, celebrating his lifelong commitment to his community.
