She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Riah "R. B." Bates and Ida Bentley Bates; her siblings, Effie, McKinley, Estil, Cobert, Claude, Eltee, Glenn, Dean and Ray; her husband Bobby Gene Vaughn; her daughter Sharon Vaughn; and her sister Elsie Jones (Bill). She was also cherished by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
