It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Ray Gibson Sr. (Vandalia, Ohio), who passed away on November 1, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold W. Gibson Sr. and Louda Gibson (Hammonds). He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Gibson (Furlong); his sons, Ray Gibson Jr. (Renee) of Englewood, Michael Gibson (Cynthia) of Vandalia and Steve Gibson (Paige) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Summer, Chase, Millie, Edison and Deacon; his siblings, Harold Gibson Jr. (Patty), Gladys McDonald and Mary Bell Gibson of Dayton; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Sneddon of Union, John and Penny Sipos. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton.
