It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Alan Cooper (Vandalia, Ohio), born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father David Salmar; and his sisters, Joyce Williams and Tammy Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Kandi Jo "Lucy" Cooper and Les "Buzz" Lairson (Lisa); his pet Leo; his grandchildren, Kameron, Hunter, Grace, Samantha, Dalton, Lance and Layne; his great grandchild Delilah; and his siblings, David Cooper and Donna Byram (Rick). He is also survived by his extended family & many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in memory of Coop to the Wounded Warriors Project.
