James Ingels Obituary

The passing of James Ingels of Vandalia, Ohio leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on December 4, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Ingels and Margaret Penney (Gordon); his sons, Eric Ingels and Neil Lindsey; his siblings, Barbara Carrico, Joe Ingels, Maralee Richardson and Kathleen Heffner; and his father-in-law Elmo Hemmerich.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Ingels; his daughter Michelle Arnold (Andy); his grandchildren, Jake Kenworthy, Aubrey Arnold and Jessica Mcelroy (Tom); his great grandchildren, Jameson, Theo and Graysen; his son Chad Lindsey (Mindy); his grandchildren, Gabe and Ellie; his son Ryan Lindsey (Alisha); and his grandsons, Noah and Marcus.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crestview Baptist Church (6600 Salem Ave, Clayton, OH 45315). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Neil Lindsey Scholarship Fund through Brookville High School or to Crestview Baptist Church.
