We announce the death of Mitchell Nolan Jackson of Vandalia, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 89. Mitchell will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jackson and Rose May Jackson (Rose); his children, David Jackson, Denise "Deni" Swartz and Michelle "Mickey" Turner; and his grandchildren, Kevin Bellamy and Kasey Sams.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Faye Jackson (Lawless); his children, Tina Sams (Steve Adamson) and Mitch Jackson (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Crystal, Summer, Jessica, Justin, Mallory, Morgan, Kourtney, Dustin, Tiffany and Tyler; and his sister Francis Dee Berry. He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ashcraft First Church of God (2596 Ashcraft Rd, Dayton, OH 45414). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at the Forest Hills Memorial Gardens (11890 N Dixie Dr, Tipp City, OH 45371).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mitchell's name to the Ashcraft First Church of God, 2596 Ashcraft Road, Dayton, Ohio 45414.
