He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Anne Oster and John J. Mahoney; and his brothers, Philip, John and Vincent.

He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his son Tom; his siblings, Anne, Eileen, Dennis, Martin and Matthew; his parents-in-law, Melvie and Joseph Henry; and his brothers-in-law, Mark and Todd Henry. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
