Steven Cheney Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on January 3, 2023, at the age of 57, Steven Cheney of Vandalia, Ohio passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Steven Cheney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Gale Alley. He is survived by: his parents, Bill Cheney and Betty Cheney of Alfred Station, NY; his children, Alysha Cheney of Dayton, OH, Andrew Cheney of Dayton, OH and Adam Cheney of Dayton, OH; his grandson John Oliver Poe of Dayton, OH; and his siblings, William Cheney (Brenda) of Fairfax Station, VA, David Cheney (Olga) of Palm Coast, FL, Ken Cheney (Julie) of St Louis, MO, Katherine Alley of Redford, MI and Susan Otto (Eric) of Yukon, OK. He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, and 5 great-nieces and nephews.
After medical issues ended that work in 2005 and forced him onto disability, Steve worked at a variety of short-term maintenance and custodial jobs as his health permitted until 2020, when the COVID pandemic precluded any further work.
Memorial contributions may be made in Steven's name to the American Kidney Fund.
