He is survived by: his children, Ruth Fitzsimmons (Desmond), Nina Friedman, John Stephens (Connie) and Merry Moody (Dirk); and his grandchildren, Joshua Moody, Sarah McCollum, Katelyn Thoroughman, Chris Willis and Brittany Winfield. He is also survived by 28 great-grandchildren.
