Daniel Patrick Sharkey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2023, Daniel Patrick Sharkey of Vermilion, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward G. Sharkey and Catherine Sharkey (Wuennemann); and his brother Michael "Mick" Sharkey. He is survived by : his former life partner Mary Sharkey; his children, Bart Sharkey (Susan), Bridget Rueter (Scott) and Colleen; his grandchildren, Caroline, Will, Carson Rueter, Jennifer and Bonnie Sharkey; his sister-in-law Anne Ernst; his niece Kelsey Sharkey; his nephew Justin Sharkey; and his cousins, Wini, Paul (Mary Ellen) and Barbara Bruening.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dan's name to the Cincinnati Reds Community Fund or the Ohio Veterans Home Volunteer Committee (2003 Veterans Blvd., Georgetown, OH 45121).
