He was predeceased by: his father Robert "Finn" Howat; his sister Darlene Hering (Howat); and his grandparents, Harold, Doris Barnes, Ralph and Josephine Moore.
He is survived by: his mother Rosella "Rosie" Howat (Barnes) of Birmingham, OH; his wife Heather M. Howat (Kunz); his sister Dawn Smith; his nephew Christopher Smith; and his niece Jessica Hofecker. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, beloved friends.
