He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward R. Sr. Horner and Martha E. Horner; his sister Linda McMillan; his nieces, Belinda Kay Boyd and Marsha Schoening; and his grandchildren, Gretchen Horner, Jeffrey and Joshua Horner.
He is survived by: his wife Judith A Horner of Vermilion; his children, James Robert "Jim" Horner (Kristi Jo) of Troy, Timothy Allen Horner (Angie) of Elyria and Tonya Horner of Vermilion; his grandchildren, Christopher (Michelle), Matt (Cassie), Jacob, Emma, Gloria, Cameron and Kalibur Horner; his great grandchildren, Declan, Ellie Rose and Lillian; and his sisters, Kathy Schoening (Bob) of Dubois, PA, Shirley Sue Poprock (Jim) of Las Vegas, NV, Birtha Mae Saylers (Jerry) of Sandusky and Brenda Kay Boyd (Roy) of Vermilion, OH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
