She was predeceased by : her siblings, Alida Leimbach and Laurence (Oord); and her son-in-law Robert Beach III. She is survived by : her husband Joseph B. Mayer of Vermilion; her children, Joseph Mayer (Connie) of Amherst, Dean Mayer (Kay) of Vermilion, Veronica Vanden Bout (Philip) of Vermilion, Nancy Mayer of Vermilion, Mary Mayer (David Good) of Vermilion and Laura Brown (Doug) of Vermilion; her grandchildren, Troy, Vanessa, Renee, Nicholas, Amanda, Kristen, Julie, Savannah, Adam, Joseph, Eric, Halle, Angela and Dana; her sisters, Margaret Bates of Kipton and Dorothy Spence of Ypsilanti, MI; and her brother-in-law Lester Mayer of Vermilion. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
