He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Martin and Victoria Martin; his children, Dean Gillespie, Tom Gillespie and Peggy MacKay; his siblings, Hayes, Ben, Jerry, Ruth Stone, Macy McQuaid, Della Cole, Lorain Stone and Norma Jean Greene; and his granddaughter Regan Denger.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Jones and Shirley Sharp (Steve) of Vermilion; and his grandchildren, Matthew Hamilton, David Dillon, Kristina Gillespie, Justine Liddick, Ryan Kordish and Nicolas Kordish. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
