He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Leo, Betty Dickel, John and Mildred Henning; and his nephew Nathan.

He is survived by : his parents, Herbert Dickel and Martha Dickel of Vermilion; his siblings, David Dickel (Cyndee) of Vermilion, Julie McBrayer (Dean) of Portage, IN and Connie Laughlin (Chris) of Vermilion; and his nieces and nephews, Krista, Jordan, Jaydeyn and Sara.
