With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Russell of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on August 29, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell and Alice Haettich (Martin); and his sisters, Barbara McGuirk, Patricia Johnson and Maureen Kay Russell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Tim Russell (Karen), Dan Russell, Sharon Brucker and Judy Herbert; and his nephews, Joe and Drew Russell. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
