With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janis E. Adkins of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 13, 2025 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kochis and Evelyn Kochis; her brother-in-law Donny Adkins; and her great grandchild Everleigh. She is survived by: her husband Albert; her children, Kelly Edwards (Keith) of Etters, PA and Jeremy Adkins (Becca) of South Amherst; her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Brianna Little, Chance Horton, Michael (Morgan), Collin and Tyler Adkins; her great grandchildren, A'miyah Spencer, A'layna Little and Emery; her siblings, Keith (Marcia), Denny Kochis and Judi Smith (John); and her siblings-in-law, Chilton (Linda), Jimmy Adkins (Missy), Patsy Workman and Judy Shafer (Walt). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
