It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sammy Joe Lewis of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Manchester, Kentucky, who passed away on December 26, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Jr. Lewis and Guerilla Lewis; and his in-laws, George and Elizabeth LaMarche. He is survived by: his wife Tracy Lewis; his sons, Mason of Vermilion and David Lewis of Vermilion; his brother Dan Lewis (Tracy) of Berlin Heights; and his sister-in-law Suzette LaMarche of Vermilion. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Riddle Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
