With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Tad Willis Phillips of Vermilion, Ohio, born in Elyria, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2026 at the age of 50. He was predeceased by: his father Larry Phillips; and his stepfather William Kishman. He is survived by: his wife Shelby Phillips; his sons, David Buchanan and Cooper Phillips (Myah); his grandchildren, Aurora and Forrest; his mother Loretta Kishman; his brother Todd Phillips; his brother-in-law Donny Buchanan (Michelle); his nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Darrin Daverick, Jordan, Amanda Buchanan and Jonathan Phillips; his aunt Alice; and his uncle Rick Herdt.
