In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Darlene leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Darlene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father Carl Chasteen; and her brother Carl "Steve" Chasteen. She is survived by: her husband Heath Bennett; her mother Judith Chasteen (Young); her children, Danielle Gebhart (Ryan) and Seth Bennett (Kayla); her grandchildren, Bennett, Boone, Brylee and Knox; her sister Cathy Schuck (Bill); and her sister-in-law Cheryl Chasteen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gilbert-Fellers Funeral Home (950 Albert Rd, Brookville, OH 45309). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
