He was predeceased by: his parents, Rastus Collins and Reva Collins; his granddaughter Ava Collins; his siblings, Larry "Buster" Collins, Robert "Nicki" Collins, Jett "Bud" Collins, Kenneth "Kenny" Collins, Rosemary Collins and Kathy Russell; and his close friend Don Huffman.

He is survived by: his wife Maxine Collins of Vickery, Ohio; his daughters, Amanda Dockery (Jason) of Dungannon, Mindy Collins (Justan Sibley) of Sandusky and Laura Collins of Sandusky, Ohio; his stepchildren, Laurie Glenn (James), Cam Banks (Sandy), Tresa Morgan (Rodney) and Jason Banks (Laurie); his close friend Jack Russell; and his grandchildren, Rhyder Sibley, Lacey Collins and Ace Collins. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
