Helen R. Belt Obituary
We announce the death of Helen R. Belt of Vienna, Ohio, who passed away on September 23, 2026, at the age of 79. Helen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvie R. Goodnight and Ruby Snyder Goodnight; her children, Debbie and Ricky Belt; her granddaughter Christina Belt; and her siblings, Phyllis Mahan, Sandra Arthur, Delores Jones, Shirley Ray Goodnight, Roy Goodnight, Robert Goodnight, Jerald Goodnight, Denzil Goodnight, Diane McIntire and Gary Freed.
She is survived by: her daughter Beverly Moss (Russ Burnette) of Painesville, OH; her granddaughters, Amanda Moss, Amber K. Berry and Samantha Belt; her great grandchildren, Jase, Aaron, Tanner, Addi, Kyler and Shane; and her sister Patricia Metz.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Leavitt Funeral Home - Parkersburg (403 7th St, Parkersburg, WV 26101). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
