He was predeceased by: his parents, Wasyl Soroka and Paraska Soroka (Szewczuk); his wife Olga; and his siblings, Mary Gnip, Ted, Pete and John Soroka.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Soroka (Marsha) of Avon Lake and Lee Ann Sena (Steve) of Vienna; his grandchildren, Luke Soroka, Justin Soroka (Jenny), Kristen Terlecky (Jared) and Stefanie Burcham (Marc); and his great grandchildren, Drew, Grace Soroka, Evelyn, Audrey Soroka, Jackson, Dane Terelcky, Addison, Cooper and Reese Burcham.
A memorial gathering will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Briceland Funeral Service (379 OH-7, Brookfield Township, OH 44403). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 28th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
