He is survived by : his children, Ishmael Jeffery Smith (Tonya), Brenda Valentine (Randy), Linda Edmonds (Donald) and Cindy Lambert (Shawn); his grandchildren, Ishmael Jeremiah Smith, Philip Smith, Jessica Miles, Jonathan Edmonds, Justin Edmonds, Josh Valentine, Felishia Valentine, Meghan Lambert, Clinton Lambert, Taylor Smith and Scott Smith; and his siblings, Jewel "Sis" White, Carolyn "Coop" Duesler, Tina "Tiny" Cook, Gloria "Debbie" Cline, Timmy Smith and Willie "June Bug" Smith, Jr..

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McCoy-Moore Funeral Home Inc. (420 1st Ave, Gallipolis, OH 45631). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
