He is survived by: his close friend Stacy Groves of Vinton; his father Mike McCarty of Vinton; his brother Rick McCarty (Juanita) of Gallipolis, Ohio; and his niece Kendra McCarty of Gallipolis. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
