She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Ward and Bertha Ward (Varney); her husband Brady McCown; her grandson Mikie Myers; and her siblings, Clyde, Reaford Ward, Fay Coon, Stella Hess and Vernie Turnmire.

She is survived by : her children, Brady McCown (Penny), Mark McCown (Heather) and Melissa Oliver (Jasper, Jr.); her grandchildren, Brady McCown III (Terry), Kevin McCown (Rhonda), Jaimie Perry (Raymond), Josh Oliver (Kristen), John Oliver (Tiffany), Jasper Oliver III (Amber Fury), Samantha Gilliland (Tony), Kylie Myers, Nicholas McCown, Braylyn Skeens, Katelyn McCown, Celia and Chris Valentine; and her brother Chester Ward (Judy). She is also survived by twenty-two great-grandchildren.
