She was predeceased by : her parents, William Dewey and Flossie Mullins (Elkins); her spouse Lew Gene Cook; her great grandchild Erin Nicole Rutherford; her siblings, Vester, Arlie, Gene, Donald, Leamon Mullins, Dorothy Polly, Darlene Palmer, Opal Reynolds and Ival Mae Mullins; and her son-in-law Joe Gibbs.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christine Seagraves (Bryan) of Vinton, Ohio and Suzetta Gibbs of Vinton, Ohio; her grandchildren, Christina Carey (David), Brietta Hunt (Scott), Bryan Seagraves (Jennifer), Deanna Spencer, Debbie Shadwick (Ronnie) and A. J. Spencer (Kayla Nottingham); her great grandchildren, Travis Polcyn, Austin Farley, Cassidy Oiler, Mason Carey, Ethan, Bryson Ball, Robert Marcum, Alexia Fitzwater, Brandon Stickle, Jaiden Shadwick, Ely, Brooklyn Peoples, Meghan, Bryan Seagraves, Natalie, Lena and Cree Spencer; her great great grandchildren, Waylyn Moore, Luca and Waverly Carpenter; her brother Robert Allen Mullins (Patricia); and her close friend Karen Johnson-Smith.
