He is survived by: his wife Jean; his children, Tim Shevel (Debbie) of Grafton, Kris Swerline (Mike) of Wooster, Bill Shevel of Wadsworth and Jim Shevel (Jodie Mullins) of Wadsworth; and his grandchildren, Ashley Shevel, Jared Shevel, Jorden Shevel, Jillian Shevel and Jackson Shevel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
