He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his sons, Earl II Kovacs (Amy) of Wadsworth and Matthew Kovacs (Kristi) of Smithville; his grandchildren, Matthew, Emily and Elizabeth Kovacs; his siblings, Steve Kovacs (Linda) of Las Vegas and Debbie Nee (Rick) of South Carolina; and his sister-in-law Jackie Nye (Delbert) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
