He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille "Goggin" Roberts and Edward Earl Roberts Sr.; his wife Patricia "Pat" Walsh Roberts; his sisters, Audrey McCaw, Mary Lou Cranston and Marilyn Eso; and his granddaughter Shawna Stevens.

He is survived by: his sister Kathy Noto (Russ); and his children, Jean Tolle (Herb), Bonnie Krueger (Phil), Mike Roberts (Patty), Dr. Sharon Fitzsimmons (Dan), Mary Ann Roberts, Dan Roberts (Suzanne) and Kathy Marrin (Marty). He is also survived by 16 Grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
