Gary Loveless Obituary
We announce the death of Gary Loveless of Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on October 23, 2026, at the age of 76. Gary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Loveless and Mary Loveless (Dodson); his brother Bob Loveless; his sisters-in-law, Becky and Diane Loveless; and his father-in-law Darwin Sampsel.
He is survived by: his wife Sherry Sampsel; his sons, Matt (Lisa), Rod (Cathy) and Ben Loveless (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kristin, Luke, Ellie, Garrett and Eli; his brother Don Loveless; his siblings-in-law, Linda Schumacher (Steve) and Randy Sampsel (Kelly); and his mother-in-law Lou Ellen Sampsel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Wadsworth United Methodist Church (195 Broad, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the White Timbers Winery (10036 Rittman Rd, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
