He was predeceased by: his father John Wirbickas; his birth father John Wirbickas; his sister Bridget Potter; and his grandparents, John and Ruth Bowser (Hranka).
He is survived by: his mother Kathleen M. Potter (Bowser); his children, Sonia Jurkowski (Jason), Tyler Potter (Kelly), Casey Potter and Sydney Potter; his siblings, Ruth Zader (Mark), John Potter (Dori), Annette Baker (Mark Sigmon), David Potter (Danielle) and Bernadette Giancarlo (Robert); and his close friends, Larry Wizorek and Jim Kraft. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home (174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (260 Broad, Wadsworth, OH 44281).
