With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Witschey of Wadsworth, Ohio, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarence Witschey and Jane Witschey (Gaston); and his sister Mary Lodge (Lehman). He is survived by : his wife Patrisha Helms; and his brother Rod (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association or Parkinson's Foundation or the St. Joseph's Indian School.

“We the neighbors of Dick and Trish have been saddened by the news of his passing. My family were next door neighbors for 35 years. Trish and Dick were the 1st ones to welcome us to the neighborhood when our house was under construction. My 3 children had the good fortune to know such an honest, sincere and wonderful man. When neighbors get together, we still recall his jokes and stories. Dick, we know you are at peace, but a piece of you will remain in our hearts. Neighbors on Peachtree Lane”
