Sarah Ford Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Ford (Wadsworth, Ohio), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 5, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Mark McCague and Sarah G. McCague (Flynn); her brother Jack; and her daughter Barbara Ellen Ploetz. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Ford of McKees Rocks; her daughters, Kathleen Suedel (Burton), Francis Ploetz, Patricia Gear (Parker), Kelly Yaw (Larry) and Karen Ford; her grandchildren, Shane, Joshua (Emily), Joey (April), Cathryn, John (Alex), Sarah, Madeleine and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Cayden, Liam, Mason, Nora, Amelia, Cooper and Miles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hilliard Rospert Funeral Home (174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home (174 N Lyman St, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish (260 Broad, Wadsworth, OH 44281). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery (10175 Rawiga Rd, Seville, OH 44273).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish or Media County SPCA.
