He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Rice and Thelma Rice (Terry); his daughter Cindy (Gary Flesher); his son-in-law John Farmer; and his granddaughter Rosabelle Nemchik.
He is survived by: his wife Joan; and his daughters, Sandra Young (Jesse) and Goldie Farmer. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 6 siblings.
