He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lang and Beulah Lang (Edmonson); and his sisters, Doris Chasteen of Alabama, Shirley McLamb of North Carolina and Jo Horning of Norwalk, OH..

He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Theresa Gearing (Paul) of Ft. Myers, FL, Kimberly Pylant (William "Pug") of Collins, OH and Christopher Lang of Wakeman, OH; and his siblings, Sherry Harris, Linda Meredith and Lattie Lang of Fayetteville, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
