She was predeceased by: her husband William "Butch" Szabo; her parents, Alva Thurman and Johnnie Mae Thurman (Roberts); and her siblings, Frank, Donnie, Barb, Doug, Larry and Michelle.

She is survived by: her children, Bill Szabo of Wakeman, Mike Szabo (Laurie) of Attica and Debbie Weglicki of Cleveland; her grandchildren, Brittney Maynard, Christopher Farley, Brecka Reilly, Brooke Szabo, Michael Szabo, Billy Szabo and Emily Szabo; and her great grandchildren, Blake Farley, Christopher Farley Jr., Isiah Moss, Cole Maynard, Archer Reilly and Brynn Reilly.
