He was predeceased by : his wife Betty; his parents, Richard Greene and Reba Greene; and his brothers, Danny and Jerry.

He is survived by : his son Dana Greene of Wakeman; his stepchildren, Candy Butler (Dan) of Elyria and Chris Weaver (Mary) of Boston Heights; his niece Regina Sacre; and his grandchildren, Shawn, Ben (Kelly), Andrew (Nicole) and Elaine (Joaquin).

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Laubenthal Mercado Funeral Home (38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd, Elyria, OH 44035). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
