He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Schmidt; his children, Jeffrey Schmidt (Terri) of Oberlin, Jennifer Sanders of Vermilion, Christopher Schmidt of Wakeman and Jonathon Schmidt of Wakeman; his grandchildren, Hallie Kaiser (Brett), Mary Kelch (Cody), Derek Sanders (Courtney) and Angelita Schmidt; his great grandchildren, Grady Kelch, Cameron Kelch, Cora Kelch and Keltie Kaiser; and his sisters, Carol L. Baaske (Ron) of Vermilion and Nancy Gaston (Dave) of Shelby, Ohio..
