It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol T. Whitzel of Walbridge, Ohio, born in Oregon, Ohio, who passed away on March 13, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roma St and Luella St (Cover); her former life partner William Whitzel Sr.; her siblings, Romee St (Carol), Lester St (Nancy), Chester St (Sherry), Dolores Joehlin (Stanley) and Charlotte Bradfield; and her brother-in-law Stanley Joehlin (Sharon).
She is survived by : her husband Kenneth Knitz; her son Rick; her daughter-in-law Jane Temple; her stepchildren, Carol Smith (Michael), William Jr. Whitzel (Brenda) and James Whitzel (Robin); her grandchildren, Jessica and Joshua Temple; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Aiden, Audrey Temple and Alana Okonski; and her siblings, William St (Joanne) and Sandra Miller (Lee).
In lieu of flowers expression of sympathy in Carol's memory are asked to consider St. Ignatius Church or American Cancer Society.
