He was predeceased by: his parents, William Taylor and Virginia Taylor (Hauri); his wife June Ann Taylor (Vermilyea); his brothers, William, Don and Dan Taylor; his in-laws, William and Geraldine Vermilyea (Smith); and his siblings-in-law, William, Steve, David Vermilyea and Judith Hill.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Hauter (Donald Scott), Debra Gerke (Michael) and Gregory Taylor; his grandchildren, Haley Scott (Gabe), Kelsi Stencel (Matt), Brandon Taylor (Elizabeth), Zachary Hauter, Kendall Gerke and Ryan Taylor; his great grandchildren, Maeleigh and Elaine; and his siblings-in-law, Charlie Vermilyea, Sandi Faulkner (Bob), Bev Vermilyea, Sheri Vermilyea, Betsy Taylor and Trish Conway.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Wounded Warrior Project.
