She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Oates and Edith L. Oates (Frantz); her husband Dick; her daughters, Barbara Flis, Kay Caris and Connie Price; and her siblings, Mayola Smith, Don, Bill, Earl, Chuck and Jack Oates.

She is survived by : her grandchildren, Shelly Woodward, Stacy Smith (David), Troy Philo (Deb), Tommy Caris (Angie), Lisa Groom (Andy), Wade Caris (Kris) and Denise VanCamp.

The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: the Wood County Humane Society.
