He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sr. Knitz and Mary Knitz (Leimann); his wife Martha Knitz; his former wife Carol Whitzel; and his sister Virginia Hudson.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jane Temple (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
