He is survived by: his wife Besta Hale; his children, Elaine Hale (Derek Miller) and Andrew Hale; his sisters, Carolyn Hale and Darlene Shell (Robert); his nieces, Cassie Pumphrey (Shane), Maggie Ferenbaugh (Quinton) and Tori Hale; his nephew Avery Davis; and his great-nephews, Tommy and Benny Pumphrey.
