He was predeceased by: his parents, Rodie Hocker and Andrew Hocker; and his sister Janie Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hocker; his children, James Riggs, Sabrina Brock and Sanchez; his grandchildren, Cierra, Naechelle, Brittney, Quenten, Tamyra, Amber (Robert) and James Jr.; and his siblings, Shirley Kongolo (Hocker), Felton Hocker (Katherine), Rosie Foster (Hocker), Robert Hocker, Anita Mitchell, Timothy Shawn Singleton (Samantha) and Alphonso Singleton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
