She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar H. Sr. Erb and Helen Erb (Langhorst); her former husband Ralph Mertz, Sr.; her husband Donald Paul Fischbach; and her siblings, Oscar, Jr., Richard and Eileen Briscoe.
She is survived by: her children, Karen L. Dearbaugh (Brent) of New Albany, OH, Jean A. Gilroy (John), Ralph V. Mertz (Darla) of Columbus, OH, Lynette E. Crow (Paul) of Edmond, OK and Donald P. Jr. Fischbach (Lisa) of Pepper Pike, OH; and her brother Lewis Erb, Sr. (Helen). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Eley Funeral Home & Crematory (1102 Lincoln Ave, Wapakoneta, OH 45895). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
