He was predeceased by : his parents, Adolph P. Severt and Theresa H. Severt (Wuebker); and his siblings, Roman, Edna, Madella, Loretta and Rosemary.

He is survived by : his children, Steven J. Severt (Patty) of Wapakoneta, OH, Katherine A. Link (Gregory) of South Bend, IN and Timothy J. Severt (Lyn) of Wapakoneta, OH; his grandchildren, John Severt (Erin), Beth McCarthy (Will), Jeanette Dripps (Zach), Brittany Batteast (Blake), Nicholas Duff (Kelly), Brad Severt (Ellie) and Luke Severt (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Garbriel, Lucia, Gianna, Kolbe, Eliza, Julia, Zita, Ezekiel, Giorgio, Briella, Bennett and Jobe; and his sister Sarah Dotson of Lima, OH..
