He is survived by: his daughter Christine A. Miller of Newport News, VA; his grandchildren, Brandon M. Egler of Hampton, VA and Brianne N. Egler of Newport News, VA; his sister Linda Merricle of Lima, OH; his nieces and nephews, Norman Koenig (Sydney), John Strayer, Allen Merricle (LeeAnn), Todd Merricle, Gina Cox (Donnavee) and Russell Patterson (Sarah); and his brothers-in-law, John and Dick Behm.
