He was predeceased by: his mother Ruth Metzger (Lotridge); his wife Becky Slusher; and his siblings, Nancy Loomis, Sharon Metzger and Joe Metzger.
He is survived by: his father Norbert Metzger; his children, Scott Metzger of Wapakoneta, Laurie Bowersock (Jerry) of Wapakoneta and Chad Metzger (Mary) of Delaware; and his sister Judy Hern. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
