He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer N. Cummins and Hattie M. McKinnon Cummins; his wife Marilyn M. Gould; and his brothers, Robert Cummins, Vernon "Jim" Cummins and Gene Cummins.
He is survived by: his children, William Cummins, Gary Cummins, Michael Cummins, Tony Cummins (Leigh), Cheryl Miller (Allan) and Linda Hock (Robert). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
